Designed for the pressing of eggplants, fruits, tomatoes and more. To prevent pulp/seeds we suggest using a cheese cloth if seeds are smaller than 1.9mm. Torchietto is a tool commonly used for pressing eggplants (jardiniere), vegetables, nut milk, pressing cheese, and juicing fruits and vegetables. To extract the most juice from your batch of fruits/vegetables it is recommended to pulse or cut the food into small pieces.

Scratches/small dents may appear at the bottom of the basket, due to the nature of how the basket sits in the press. There may be paint imperfections. This is not a manufacturer defect.

Hand wash. Clean and store in a dry place. You can apply light coating of vegetable oil on the shaft over time when needed.
