The E61 group head allows hot water to circulate from boiler through the group head and back which ensures the portatfiler and group head remain hot. The lever next to the group head on the Lelit Bianca enables the pump to draw water through the coffee grinds.

The wooden aesthetic pieces are a nice and add a touch of class. The handle on the portafilter, the steam/hot water knobs, lever and paddle have the wooden walnut accents. Even the feet on the Bianca, which are adjustable, are wooden.

Allowing for quick removal of the portafiler after the brewing of the espresso by relieving the pressure built up in the grouphead. This leaves a dry puck that can be easily knocked out of the portafiler.

The PID system has a reference timer, a low water level alert and is great for time pre-infusion. The dual pressure gauge measures the boiler pressure (0-4 bar) on top and pump pressure (0-16) on the bottom.

The Lelit wands are cool to the touch which helps to avoid burns. It also has a new structural design to facilitate cleaning, avoid limestone formation which brings about a more satisfying user experience.

The water tanks sits in the stainless steel external “backpack” of the Bianca to avoid any heating up of the water temperature. This is great for counter space as well, as it can sit on any of the three sides of the machine. The tank can also be removed for easy cleaning.

The Burrs are manufactured in Etzinger in Liechtenstein, featuring 40mm conical all-purpose burrs, which produce an exceptional espresso grind, as well as grinding for manual brewing requiring a finer grind range.

The burrs grind coffee at 2.9g/sec (Setting 8E) - 4.0g/sec (Setting 28) depending on the roast and the setting. The burrs are durable, and will remain sharp for many years.

The Sette has a macro adjust of 30 steps, grinding from espresso to manual brew. A step-less micro adjust with 9 indicators, allows the user to easily dial in a perfect espresso. The macro/micro mechanism is directly connected to the cone burr resulting in immediate and true grind adjustment.

The cone burr is easily removable with no tools, making cleaning very easy.

To maximize freshness, the Sette minimizes the ground coffee left in the grinder.
